Great podcast. I learned a ton and am excited about video marketing as a opportunity.
Quick question for Justin. How has having a programming background helped you in your SEO career. I have been interested in learning code and taken several courses. I’m wondering if you think learning to code is a worthwhile skill for marketers and SEOs to pick up.

Thanks! I’ll ping Justin and see if he wants to chime in. I learned a little code and personally, it has helped me a TON. I’d never be able to do as much technical SEO and just in general understand how to ‘look under the hood’ etc of things without it!

Just got done listening to your podcast with Experts on the Wire with Dan Shure. https://www.evolvingseo.com/2017/08/09/078-justin-briggs/ — great info thanks, it helped me with trying to beef up my youtube viewership in the Climate Change info space. Great reel loving the aerial and time lapse. Look forward to seeing your new stuff. Congrats on your marriage good luck with the working together thing I tried and failed, although when it worked it was a beautiful thing; when it didn’t… well lets just say lawyers got involved ;-) Dan Shure should do more to promote his music loving the theme tune. Dan, great content as usual.
You mention using PDF’s additionally to content like a blog post. Do recommend hosting these PDF’s on your site with a link to them in the post or do you host them in Dropbox with a link to them.
Any other way to embed them?

This content is so practical. I agree with the idea of partnering with clients. The change in mindset itself is a huge factor for setting expectations and having honest communication with clients.
I have a question. Were you ever camera shy? If yes, how did you overcome it?

Dan Shure
Hey Suneel – awesome!
In terms of the camera, I can’t speak for Justin, but I can definitely be camera shy. The BIGGEST factor in overcoming that for me is just having something to say and being confident in what I’m saying.
